Funny Faces

Although my children are older, we still enjoy having some fun during the holidays. Tonight we will carve some pumpkins, drink some hot apple cider, and share a few laughs.
Some thoughts as we move into November:
1) They are never too old for some good old pumpkin carving-cookie making-good times.
2) Take what you can get. They may not always want to join in the fun, that is ok. Make the offer and give them space. They will know you care.
3) Before you plan family events, make special time for each and every child. A few hours of one-on-one goes such a long way and invites cooperation in the future.
